Contego reduces risks with personnel by checking references and performing complete background investigations.
Once the applicant signs a written offer letter, a criminal background check is then conducted in all counties/states where the applicant has resided/been employed for the past ten years.
Appropriate jurisdictions are identified via disclosure by the applicant as well as a Social Security Number trace, to the extent permitted by law. In addition, a search of Federal Criminal courts is also conducted.
Contego maintains a “zero tolerance” policy to employ a workforce free from drug abuse and alcohol, either on or off the job. We also check driving records for license suspensions, violations, and revocations. Drug screening and licenses checks are continued on an annual basis.
All personnel receive security compliance training, and periodically receive updates regarding the Contego Information Security Policy.
All employees are required to sign a confidentiality agreement that is placed in their permanent file.
Our Secure Facility
Contego’s secure storage facility focuses on protection from fire, theft, vandalism, unauthorized access, and storm protection.
Intrusion Protection
All exterior doors have contact alarms, monitored by a central station service, 24 hours a day.
Interior Protection
Motion detectors are utilized in main aisles, office and access points.
Perimeter Protection
High intensity lighting is used for all truck parking, dock access areas, and exterior corners of the facility.
Client Access Security
Clients must provide a list of all authorized users. Contego’s online retrieval system allows for various security level authorizations such as individual files, department records only, or individual boxes.
Facility Access
Protection from unauthorized access is controlled. All visitors, clients, prospects, and vendors, are required to sign into the facility visitor’s log and wear an assigned visible ID badge.
CCTV
Close circuit TV covers major access points, remote facility sections, dock work areas, and truck and employee parking locations. A 90 day storage media backup is maintained.
Keypad Access
Access to production and warehouse areas are controlled by keypad only access. Only authorized users provided with access codes are allowed entry.
All Contego document and data storage services, procedures, and facilities are in strict compliance with HIPAA, FACTA, Gramm-Leach-Bliley, Sarbanes-Oxley and other regulations.
